Early Stage Careers co-produced and curated Inside The Hiring Room in conjunction with the Princeton Club of New York. This panel event featured high-level recruiters & HR executives across a variety of industries with specific experience working with early careerists. These panelists represented Bank of America, Bloomingdales, Blue Apron, Estee Lauder Companies, Ernst & Young, Macy’s, Morgan Stanley, R/GA, and Vayner Media. Our panelists provided incredible insights and advice for college students and recent graduates, focusing on today’s hiring landscape, common hiring practices & trends, and interview skills for early stage careerists, all with the goal of helping them get hired. The subsequent reception presented a networking opportunity for all guests and panelists.

Early Stage Careers produced this career intensive event for Let's Get Ready, a NYC-based non-profit dedicated to  helping students from low-income backgrounds and first-generation-to-college students get to and graduate from college. 

This career intensive covered everything from how to create an effective resume and customize cover letters for individual jobs, to effective business communication tools, ways to build and maintain a LinkedIn presence, and interview skills and personal brand building. In addition, students had professional headshots taken for their LinkedIn profiles, and enjoyed a professional panel lunch full of insight from our panelists who work in recruiting and HR. Early Stage Careers was thrilled to share our expertise and help give these promising students the tools they need to launch their careers!


Kickstart Your Career: How to Land that Sought After Internship or First Job

Presented with the Wharton Club of New York - Early Stage Careers co-produced and curated a panel featuring several high-level recruiters & HR executives across a variety of industries. Representing IBM, Blue Apron, Bloomberg Inc., Oppenheimer & Co. Inc., Abercrombie & Fitch, and Christian Louboutin - these panelists led an informative discussion discussing job marketplace preparation, hiring practices, and interview skills all with an eye towards helping college students & recent graduates land internships & jobs today. The subsequent reception presented a networking opportunity for all guests and panelists.

How To Get Hired in Today's Demanding Job Marketplace?

This panel, moderated by Early Stage Careers' Lesley Mitler & Jill Tipograph and presented with The Penn Club of New York, allowed several successful millennial University of Pennsylvania graduates across a spectrum of industries to share their insights and advice. The subsequent reception presented a networking opportunity for the nearly one hundred parents, students, and graduates as well as the panelists.
